Examination Policy

Half Yearly Examination
(Session 2023-24)

1. For NURSERY to UKG :-

Assessment will be conducted six times in the academic year, three assessment will be conducted in the first term and the next three assessment will be conducted in the second term. Teacher will maintain the folder that will include worksheets, activity sheets and need to present on the PTM day.

2. For GRADE 1 to 4 :-

There will be three periodic tests in total, two periodic test before half yearly exam and one periodic test after half yearly exam, best out of two periodic test will be considered.
  1. (i) The half yearly exam will be conducted for 50M [40 examination+10 internal]

    1. a) Course subjects (English, Hindi, Maths,E.V.S.) will be of 50 marks (40+10)

                                              Theory examination – 40 marks

                                              Internal Assessment – 10 marks

                        Computer  –   Theory examination – 20 marks (will be reduced to 10)

                                              Internal Assessment – 10 marks

    1. b) K./ MSc., Sanskrit – Will be of 20 marks
    2. c) Art, and Music – will be based on theory and internal assessment (set by concerned subject teachers) and then the marks (20) will be converted to grades.

    (Grading point scale; A, B, C, D)

    1. d) Physical Education and Dance – Internal assessment of 20 marks later to be converted to grades.

*Note: Internal Marks will be reduced to 10 for main subjects. Parameters/ Rubrics of internal assessment will be mentioned by the concerned subject teachers.
